This week I'm sharing from Worthy, book 3 of the Challenge Series as I have a cover reveal. I hope you like it. It and the story has been long overdue.
Here's the blurb:
Some
secrets can bind you.
Since they were teenagers, Tessa Obum has shared everything
with her best friend Anuli Okoro. Inseparable, they are bonded by a secret so
dark that it could destroy them both if it ever came to light.
So when she meets business mogul Peter Oranye, she
knows their dalliance will only ever be light and fun.
Some
secrets can break you.
Try telling that to Peter who seems to only have one
on mode—intense—and is single-mindedly determined to have all of Tessa no matter
the emotional and physical costs.
Can he break the chains tying her to her past? And when
their secrets come to light, will any of them be worthy of the love they crave?
This is a erotic contemporary romance with elements of suspense.
The tentative release date is November 2015. I'll give exact date closer to the time.
For now I leave you with a snippet.
This scene always makes smile as it sees the three friends, Michael, Paul and Peter from the Challenge series having fun and ribbing each other. Enjoy it.***
"You know, I never thought you'd be getting married
before me."
Peter Oranye cupped the balloon glass in his palm and
swirled the clear dark amber liquid it contained before tilting the glass to
inhale the aroma. The smell of strong wood, spices and orange peel sailed
through his nostrils.
"Point of correction. He is already married. This is just a formality." Michael Ede
laughed at his own joke while patting Paul Arinze on the back.
"Yes, I forgot about the shotgun wedding in Lagos."
Paul spluttered his drink. "Shotgun wedding? Ijay is
not pregnant."
Peter burst into laughter. "You should see your face
now."
"He had you there." Michael grinned.
"Funny.
Haha," Paul said as he dabbed himself with a napkin.***
