Yay! I have a shiny new book cover + paperback #Giveaway
Can you tell I have a thing for shiny new book covers? LOL. I'm obsessed with them. In fact, this is the third cover change for this particular book.
Don't roll your eyes at me, silly. *smiles* I have perfectly good reasons for changing it this time.
A Valentine Challenge is coming out in paperback!
And the choir sings "Halleluyah!"
Yes, indeed. Those of you who've been waiting to get your fingers on a printed version, should be very happy. The story has been revised and extended with a few new scenes added.
Anticipated re-release date: 14 February 2014
Without further ado, I give you the new cover for A Valentine Challenge.
Yes, I know what you're thinking. Another one with an abstract / inanimate object on the cover. Well, apparently, people don't feel so shy about picking up a paperback with an inanimate object on the cover as opposed to having half-naked people on the cover. *shrugs* I read that somewhere.
So what do you think? Do you like it? If you think there's anything I should change on it, let me know. I'm happy to fiddle with it a bit more.
Feel free to enter the Goodreads giveaway. I'm giving away 5 paperback copies.

Cover Reveal: His Princess (Men of Valor, #3)
Happy Monday, friends. What
a great start to the week. Please join me in my excitement as I share the cover
of His Princess, the third book in the Men of Valor historical romance series
set in West Africa. The ebook is out July 20, 2012 published by Breathless
Press.
As
always, I love what my cover artist has done here. While the cover for His
Treasure is still my favourite, this one comes a very close second. I just love
it. Don’t you?

Cover Reveal & Autographed Paperback Gift
My hands are shaking. I’m excited. I just signed off
the book cover for the paperback edition for An Engagement Challenge. Next stop
will be physical proof copies of the printed paperback. Yay! My first ever book
in paperback. I really can’t wait to hold them in my hands. They arrive soon so
I’ll be hounding the postman for the next few days.
To liven up my current blog tour, I want to offer
readers the chance to be one of the first people to get their hands on an
autographed ARC paperback of An Engagement Challenge. I'll also personalise the autograph (within limits) if you wish to have specific written words on it.

Thrusty Thursday – Judge A Book By Its Cover
Hello Readers.
Yesterday I did a little experiment on Facebook. Well, it wasn’t very
scientific and probably didn’t cover a broad spectrum of my readership but it
produced an interesting result.
I asked people
to vote for their preferred cover out of these two.
A total of 52 people
voted. 40 voted for A. 12 voted for B. Overwhelming, right? You’d think I’d go ‘Yeah,
my job here is done’ and put my feet up. After all, I have a cover most people
liked. Nope. Read the comments below and I’ll explain why I still have my work
cut out.

Thrusty Thursday - Unveiling Book Cover no3
Hello readers, it’s not very often I do two posts
in one week but this is a special week. On Monday I unveiled the cover to His Strength, the 2nd in the Men of
Valor historical romance mini-series which is out February 10.
Today, I’d like to share with you the cover art for
my contemporary romance novella due out January 30, 2012. A Valentine Challenge is set mainly in Enugu, Nigeria. Here’s the
blurb.
Ex-soldier
Michael Ede has spent his time building his life exactly the way he wants it. Life
is good. Or so he thinks. So when his friends set him a challenge to exorcise the
memory of a woman from his past, he expects it to be a walk in the park.
Socialite
Kasie Bosa is spitting fire at men. Her long-term boyfriend has asked for a
break via text message of all things. How dare he? She’s told him to go take a
dive into the River Niger. And not so politely too. So the next man who dares
to cross her path is at risk of getting shredded with her spa manicured nails.

New Year, New Cover, New Books
Hello everyone. Happy New Year! I hope that 2012
meets you healthy and hearty.
2011 was a fantastic year for me—I signed my first
publishing contract and published my first book, meaning that I achieved a goal
I’d set for myself at the beginning of the year. Read my thanksgiving postwhere I listed several reasons for me to be thankful in 2011.
For 2012, I have upped the ante on my goals, pushing
myself even further. So I hope you’ll stay with me as I aim to break new
grounds this year. This year, expect more from me. More projects, more
excerpts, more freebies and more all round fun.
To kick off the New Year, I’d like to unveil the
cover of my next book, His Strength,
Men of Valor #2. It is out February 10, 2012. This is the story of Ikem and
Nneka who are briefly mentioned in His
Treasure. Visit My Books page to read the blurb. You can also read an excerpt. I’d like to thank my cover
artist Mina Carter for capturing the characters very well. I love it. Don’t
you? J

Thrusty Thursday - Debut Book Cover
Hello readers, welcome back to Thrusty Thursday. I have exciting news today.
Apart from the hard graft of editing and revising a
manuscript in preparation for publication, other things happen in the background.
Like reviewing and signing off the final cover art for the book. For me this is
the most anticipated milestone outside of the publication date. As a visual
person, covers are what attract me to books. They lead me to read the blurbs
and find out more about the content of the book.
Today I can finally reveal the cover for my debut book
titled His Treasure due out in
December 2011. It’s a historical romantic fiction set in the region now
referred to as South Eastern, Nigeria or Igboland and is part of the 3-book Men of Valor mini-series.
I am so excited about this book, in fact the whole series,
as it would be the first of its kind to be published for the romance reading mass-market.
Where else would you find a purely African historical romantic book or series?
If I’m wrong, I’m sure someone will correct me.
Anyway, without further ado, here’s the cover for His Treasure. Ta-da!
