This week, I'm sharing one last teaser from Keeping Secrets. It'll be that last teaser from this book for a while as I return to writing a new story. The final instalment of Benjamin and Selina's story is screaming to be finished. You'll get a teaser from that next week over at the Passion Shields blog.
In the meantime, I'll leave you with a little from Felix and Ebony in Keeping Secrets. I think the scene describes itself. I hope you enjoy it.
Ebony
walked out of the en-suite bathroom and stopped. Felix sat on the bed, taking
his shirt off. At the sight of the broad shoulders, taut pectorals, and
rippling bicep muscles, her breath caught in her throat and a warm shiver crept
up her back. Fascinated, she stared at him with undisguised hunger, lips
parted, body flushed.
He
tossed the shirt aside and their gazes met. His cheek dipped with a dimple, his
smile oh-so-sexy.
Lava
pooled low in her belly. She swiped clammy hands over the silk negligee
covering her thighs.
What
was the matter with her? Felix had been injured, sex probably the last thing on
his mind. She needed to concentrate on making him comfortable.
“Can
I help you with something?” she asked, keeping her tone jovial. But her face
heated up when his lips curled in a wicked grin.
“Sure,
you can. Come here.” His deep, husky voice sent her heart racing with
anticipation. Her awareness of him racked up to scorching level.
Legs
trembling a little, she walked over to him and stopped at arm’s length. Desire
filled his eyes, turning them into fiery onyx. An ache settled in her core, a
need for him to kiss her again, to feel his hands setting her skin ablaze. She
wanted to taste him, to touch him. Yet, she hesitated.
“What
would you like me to do?” she asked, not sure if he wanted help with his
trousers, unable to keep her eyes away from his stomach muscles tapering into
them. She tried to keep her thoughts on what needed to be done. The loose-fitting
cargo pants were probably the only things he could wear with the plaster cast
on his ankle. With zippers at the sides and on the hems, it could come off
easily
“Come
closer,” he demanded in a low, growling voice.
