Q1) Can you tell us a little about yourself

GLH: My passion for creating led me to study fashion design, a job that spanned several years until my hubby’s job took us to the Middle East and we relocated. Here, I did a short stint as an art teacher. Two jobs that required me talking to people—not an easy thing for an introvert like me, I assure you.

But now I'm finally able to do something close to my heart without feeling scrutinized, overwhelmed or uncomfortable—I write.

Q2) Have you always wanted to be an author?

GLH: No, I wanted to read. Anything and everything I could lay my hands on from the moment I could understand the written word. Writing took too long, or so I thought in those days. Now I can’t wait to dive into the world I’ve created to see what my characters have in store for me J

Hi Kiru and thanks so much for inviting me to be here today and for the opportunity to talk to readers about my brand new release ‘Life After 6 Tequilas’ (Thornberry Publishing, 4 March 2013). Essentially, this story is a romance, loaded with conflict and injected with humour – a kind of ‘chick lit with issues’ and ‘unlikely opposites attract’ scenario that I hope you’ll all enjoy.

The unexpected change in his surroundings set him on alert. With muscles tensed and the hairs on his neck erect, Idris sniffed the air. The scent of jasmine and an essence all too feminine floated around him. A bolt of arousal speared through him, tightening his gut.

Soft moans drew his attention to the sheer ivory screen around the bed. Instinct and an invisible force pulled him toward the occupant, a puppet on a string.

Recognition dawned.

Q1) Can you tell us a little about yourself

Thanks for showcasing me on your blog.  I am married to my own tall, dark and handsome hero and we have two very active boys. There are very few things I enjoy more than playing word games and reading. I also enjoy watching back-to-back episodes of some American series e.g. Scandal, Criminal Minds, The Good Wife, Greys' Anatomy, etc. I have been writing for a while but only started doing so seriously when I met some other writers (including yourself) who encouraged me to pursue it seriously.

In the moonlight, she looked even more remarkable. Like a water goddess, her wet hair cascaded behind her, her ample breasts in full view, her nipples taut and pointing toward him. Water ran in between her breasts down her flat belly.

Immobilized, he watched her, his mind unable to think coherently. His body didn’t fail to respond to the temptation displayed in front of him; the rush of heated blood swelling his manhood to the point of pain.

When she moved in his direction, he was jolted into action as he became ashamed of his inability to control himself.

"I'm sorry," he said and turned around, intending to walk away.

Oh gods!

Panting hard, she trembled as sensation thrilled through her body.
